Yes.....make sure you get those bulb housings twisted into the headlamp assemblies tightly and correctly......

Or they'll come loose and get so hot you think your engine is on fire. And the seal on your headlamp will melt.

Not that I would ever do something like that. Lol.

Sorry, to clarify the "keep traditional brights" advice is specific to dual-bulb setups rather than those which change position. My mistake.

I'll second the tight seal on the bulb housing. You'll see the area where you put the large, flat o-ring (orange or blue I believe). I actually went to the hardware store and got a real thin, regular o-ring about the same diameter and installed it behind that colored o-ring to give it a very tight seal. It holds it in place real well.

I was planning on doing exactly that just for you bluestang lol...I drove home last night from canton and to be honest with you, I don't need the HIDS. The lights do just fine at night! The only difference is it seems like the lights are "pointed down" a little (not quite as much range) but they are just as good. I don't see any reason why you can't purchase the Xpels and be comfortable driving at night. If you want to I'd say go for it! I am just going the HID route because I was planning on doing that in the first place.
