The splice-in kits have always been cheaper than the plug-n'-play. If my budget was tight, I'd probably have opted for the splice-in. But I consciously choose the plug-n'-play.
Regardless, it's one of those mods that'll have you standing behind your car with the hazard lights on and a big 'ol smile.

I installed the WebElectrics splice-in kit last night. I tossed the wire taps & twist caps in favor of solder/shrink wrap. No serious issues - instructions could be clearer on a couple of steps. First harness took 1/2 hour, second took 10 min. Whole project took about 2 hours including removing lights, trim pieces, gather up supplies, beverage breaks, etc.
They worked perfect first time & look good. I didn't know it, but they also complete one sequential cycle when you apply the brakes.

Get the best or have them die like the rest...
The bounce back on the turn signal
switch has started to falsely trigger
them when the turn signal is returned
to neutral by the steering wheel...

I get 4 extra turn signals once the
lever is returned to neutral.
