I'd confirm that the CAI & tune install is good for a few days, then clean the TB. With 62k miles, I'm sure it needs it. Even if the previous owner cleaned it, you may still want to. Of course, if you're not seeing any idle or power issues, you COULD leave it be, at least for now. Your call.

A noteworthy item; a dirty TB may not show itself by being symptomatic with the stock tune but CAN cause issues with the custom tune. Due to some of the operating parameters of a custom tune being tweaked with less operating margin, custom tunes are a bit more sensitive to components that aren't operating as close to optimum as the stock tune is.

alright i'll do that. i got a friend thats going to install the intake and tune with me. i just want to make sure that the car doesn't start or completely die on me. thats the last thing i would need, then i'd get a ton of **** for it from my dad (he has no idea i spent my money on this) thats why im trying to make sure it works well without him ever finding out...

I agree with the posts above. Once your convinced the new tune is fine definately clean your TB if you think it's dirty. You'd be suprised how often this is overlooked.

alright cool, i'll definitely do that. i haven't noticed any problems at all with idling. when i have the ac on though, and coast to a stop sign in neutral the rpms tend to bounce somewhat. it gets annoying. any idea what the cause of this could be?
