Default Question about my Stang

Well I bought my stang for 22k fully loaded and modded. It blue books at 30k. So I'm hoping to get at least that back. Should I sell this one and get the 2011 GT? I have a 2010 GT now.

In Germany you may get that, you'd have to luck out big-time to get the usual pristine BB going rate here.

Up to you what you want to do, if you're looking at investment value, boss, gt500, or another specialized FORD sanctioned model outside of the standard variations if you wish to get a bigger piece of what you paid into it back from it later.

Agreed, if you can get that kind of money you might as well go for a Boss or GT500, or even better a Seca model on the autobahn , I need a cold shower now.

So I shouldn't even consider the 5.0?

I would myself, but the CS personally. Which is what it is, a personal preference, as I'm relatively unconcerned with future trade-in/re-sale value.

If you want a 5.0, get it.

All I'm saying personally is to expect these types of base trends to hold if this concerns you.

Unless it's a collector car, or has true potential to be one down the road with things people want out of it, expect to take a bath on any new car as soon as you sign the papers and drive off the lot. And good luck getting the used price you want from that used '10, I have a hunch you'll need it even there.

You might try getting that from a person to person sale but at a dealer I can tell you right now.......no dice. I just sold my 08 GT/CS that was supercharged (garage kept) and had another 2 grand in mods on top of that with only 29k miles and all they would serve up was 18k and not a penny more. You can get a new 5.0 for 34ish so I think you would be hard pressed to get 30k.

Oh I would not be taking it to a dealership for a trade in. I already know what they'll do. Thanks for all the advice guys.
