Default Replacement Rear Bumper

As I was backing up I ran into one of those big cranes parked in the same lot. I put a decent gash on my rear bumper and I was wondering where and how much a replacement bumper would cost me. Please help!

Don't forget there are people that can repair and repaint those things. Some come to your place and perform the operation. Some can make it good as new!

Go to www.saleen.com They sell all the OEM stuff they remove to make their cars. They call them Take Off parts on their website, and from what I can tell the prices seem fair for brand new stuff - and the rear bumper covers are one of the parts. You can probably even find your exact color!

Thanks guys. Let me understand this, the Take-Off parts are just parts from regular mustangs that they modified?

Yes - they are all the parts that they remove from the Mustang GT to make the S281. So you'll find all the suspension parts, brakes, front and rear bumper covers, and wheels & tires (bullits, not upgraded wheels).

And remember, for the price - the bumper is already factory painted

Give Mike at http://crashparts.cascocompany.net/ (he doesn't seem to respond to emails in a timely manner)
He's been selling GT take-off's to us V6ers for awhile now with a very high degree of satisfaction.

I have a torch red bumper I am selling, for a V6. I am buying a new bumper for the GT so I can put in dual exhaust. They are about $300 new (unpainted).

Has anyone been to http://www.genuine-ford-parts.com/ ? Any thoughts on buying it from them and do they come painted? If not, I would just go to any body shop to get them painted?
