It seems like mine is staying for a while. But seriously, this is the longest I have ever owned a car, not to mention that Im not even close to being sick of it yet. Dont stress over resale. It is what it is. You win on some cars and you eat $*it on others. But with the Stang, you should be safe. Enjoy it now.

I had my 99 firebird for 5 years, and I regret ever getting rid of that years ago
Now saying that, I will probably keep this car until it is no longer safe to drive. I do plan on buying another fbody in the future, and will probably buy a dd also

Personally I have no idea. I feel like my conscious attachment to my car isn't all that extreme, I mean don't get me wrong I love my car, but I don't feel inseparable from it on a day to day basis. I do know that often times you only realize how much you appreciated something after it disappears.
If I can feasibly afford to keep my car around and eventually buy another in maybe 8 years, then i will. Especially with the car market changing direction as it is now, something nags at me that 8 cylinder engines aren't going to stay around forever and remain affordable at least (there will always be exotic or high end luxury cars). I don't want to be stuck later in my life without being able to remind myself of just how amazing a V8 sounds when you fire it up. I also am building memories with my car so that's also a factor.
I think only time will tell me though how long I end up holding onto bruiser

I'm keeping this one forever and then some. If anything, I may buy another newer mustang and not mod that one as much as this one, and turn this one into a weekend, tire-smoking, built-engined 700hp showoff car.
