Picked up my 2012 5.0 last week

You got the best color too!
Congrats man!
And black is not hard to keep clean once you get the hang of it and get your routine down on the best method to not leave water marks or streaks.
After that it is a peace of cake.
It also helps you to practice taking good care of your car.
Buy yourself a bottle of Colinite 845 wax, a clay bar, and you will have that thing looking great for 4-5 mo. at a time!
Tint those windows ASAP man! A black car without tinted windows just does not look complete.
GREAT looking ride man!
Glad you got a manual too! They are SO MUCH funner to drive.
Makes the experience of owning a muscle car MUCH more fun!
As for the short throw shifter, scratch the steeda idea.
Wait for the MGW for the 5.0 to come out.
You WONT regret it!
Steeda makes a pretty darn good shifter but I'm telling you this and so will many others. MGW IS THE BEST SHORT THROW SHIFTER OUT THERE.
They have the most adjustable shifters out there.
From shift distance adjustability to even height of the shifter, it is
FULLY adjustable.
It is a STRONG shifter that provides SMOOTH shifting and is solid as a rock.
Wont rattle or buzz on you one bit, even if you throw a set of cams on the car.
I have tried ALL brands of shifters and while before it was hard to say which was better, the MGW has taken shifters into a WHOLE new league all together my friend!

Thanks for the tips Blacksmoke! I have also heard good things about MGW shifters so I will keep my options open. I agree 100 percent about the tint and I have made my appointment to have mine done on tuesday the 6th since I am on vacation next week.

Congrats! We need to see pics with the tint on now!
Hey rollin, here ya go http://www.mgwltd.com/mustang2010_sh..._shifter.shtml
I've heard amazing things about these shifters from a multitude of people. The 2010 shifter for the 3650 tranny is 260.00 so I imagine that when they do eventually come out with the MT82 short throws that they won't be much more expensive if not the same price.

Very nice congrats! My 11 is Black and i still think it is a pita to keep clean but i am really picky.
As for the shifter,MGW is already out and honestly after looking over the info I think it is a top of the line shifter,if i were to put one in,hands down it would be the MGW.
Here is a link to a lot of videos.Interesting they show you how poorly made the stock one is,show you step by step install, just info overload.
