Angry Bumped at a stop light! Help!

I was stopped at a light and a woman bumped me from behind. I saw her playing with her cell phone. As it turns out, she works in the same facility and is very nice.

I'm not going through insurance and she told me to give her a quote.

The damage consists of a broken license plate bulb shroud, some pocked pain,t and on each side of the license plate the shape of her bumper creased in the plastic bumper. I spoke to one shop who says they can re-shape it, but I dunno. I realize pics can help, but I can't do that right now.

Can out bumpers really be reformed, especially with sharp creases? Thanks!

Just get a new bumper. I have had experience dealing with this "re-shaping the bumper" crap and it does not always work out.

Yep, time for a new bumper! Don't let that shop talk you into repairing your bumper. It would end up costing more for labor than just getting a new bumper.

Bumpers are relatively cheap, so I would definitively go that route.
You will probably save the woman money too.

Just go with a new bumper. That way you know everything is right.

Look at it as an excuse to upgrade to the GT-CS rear bumper. Thats what I would do. But then again, thats my fancy.

150 out of pocket for a new rear end? why not?
