What would you buy between 2011 Mustang GT(supercharged) and 2007 Shelby GT500?

The GT 500 will smoke the GT in a straight line or on the the twisties.
No question. It is by far the superior car.
Plus the controls are in better positions than the 2011, the seats are better and the ride is better in the GT 500.
The ONLY reasons I did NOT get rid of my 2011 GT when I bought my GT 500 is that the GT does have the glass roof and it is paid for.

did you forget the 11 gt hes comparing to is a SUPERCHARGED gt pushing 550+? this isn't stock vs stock. this is a modded 11 gt. the gt500 is also heavier IIRC. the question is how much does the tune do for the gt500 that it is supposed to have.

The 2011 is making more power, weights about 300lbs less, and should have roughly the same overall gearing.
I'm not contesting that the GT500, in any year, is an awesome car. Just saying that if it were my money, I'd go with the quicker of the two, and the one that potentially has a standing warranty.
