Hi just got my 2010 stang and i realized that when im down shifting from 2nd to first it seems to have a harder time to push it in gear, like its not as smooth as downshifting from 3rd to 2nd is it normal

 

its in the owners manual.

but yes its normal. pretty much unless your almost stopped or as the manual states below 15 mph you can shift down to first, otherwise its rough as hell on the car and you shouldn't do it. well you can, but its your money.

also the track pack has a 3.73 gearing in the rear axle so it makes first extremely short. which is going to make it kinda jerky at times and really sensitive to throttle.

pretty much unless your stopped and just about to start moving you shouldn't be in first.

 

is it normal to have a little whine when in 1st and 2nd, radio needs to be very low or off to hear it!
