Default Re-sell value between 2011 GT supercharged and 2007 shelby GT500

Thank you all for the great advices.

As I said in the previous thread, I am thinking about buying either

2011 GT supercharged with navigation and glass roof or

2007 shelby GT500 convertible with navigagion.

The price is about $36000. I like everything about the GT11 but the color. It's silver. Can I re-paint it? How much would it cost?

What about the re-sell value? Cause I "might" have to leave the country in about 2 years and unfortunately I might end up selling my car then.

Some people said that the shelby would hold the value better for it's a unique car.

Would they take it to account that the 2011 is supercharged when I sell it?

How much would those two car value after 2years and I put let say, 5k-10k miles more on those?

Thank you.

Have a nice day!

Don't repaint a brand new car. Please. It's pointless lol. I don't like convertibles, but that's personal preference, and assuming you're looking at it you're fine with it. The supercharger won't increase your value when you sell, as dealers will usually look at that as a negative on trade in, but positive on their sale. Basically you'll get screwed.

Get the GT500, it'll hold it's value, and heck, it's a GT500

Re-sell value
I think you mean "resale value."

Regardless, I agreee with the advice already given: buy the GT500.

It's Ford racing supercharger. It's installed by a dealer.

GT's resale value with barely be affected by the fact that aftermarket mods are on the vehicle and the fact that the GT500 is a specialty model makes this an easy decision. Obviously the GT500 will have a higher resale value down the road. Just buy the darn snake and post some pics already! lol
