Default Rear end noise...grr

Hey guys, just wondering if someone can help me figure out exactly the issue with my car. When I'm driving on the highway 60mhp+ and I take my foot off the gas pedal, there is a clunk and vibration in the rear end. There is no noise while driving in lower speeds in town that is noticable. I think it is a problem with the differential/gears, but not sure. I have the stock gears on my 2006 saleen.. Does anyone else experience this or know what the hell the problem is?

Stock gears from saleen means not original ford gears, probably worn weird from a less than perfect install by saleen? my guess

Saleens still come with the stock 2-piece? I thought they have an alum. 1 piece?

Hi colin06,

I suggest taking it to either the installing dealer, or your local Ford dealer to determine where the noise is coming from. If it is from the Saleen gears, you can contact them at 800.888.8945 for service and warranty questions. Have a good day!
