Bad oil separator?

Bad oil separator?
Hey all. Two questions....
1. I installed a Paxton Supercharger and needed to fit an oil separator into the line. I originally had a JLT oil separator prior to adding the S/C. I modified PCV line and added the separator after the valve. Do I have this done correctly or should it go before the valve?
2. I dont think the separator is working well lol. After i cleaned the tubing from modifying the PCV line I took the car for an 8 mile ride getting into boost here and there. I opened the can and saw i had some oil in it. 1/2 teaspoon maybe less. I pulled the line off the intake manifold to inspect for oil and found a decent amount in the line. It was as if there was no difference from adding the separator. Do i need a new one or is the common? I feel like it should of been dry after adding the separator. I was thinking of trying Steeda.
Not sure what to do...

I also have a Paxton. I replaced the pcv valve and line from the kit with the JLT catch can. The fitting on the manifold side of the can was broken off in the line so the can was basically being bypassed. I fixed the fitting but my car isnt a daily driver. So far maybe 200 miles since i fixed it and it has about a tablespoon of oil, the line after the can is dry though.
When i was using the pcv kit from Paxton, there was oil everywhere. I think you should do away with it and just run the JLT.

Same here. My car has the Paxton and I use a JDM can. While it catches a bunch of oil, there's still definitely a bit getting by. I've pretty much just come to accept that this setup pushes a bunch of oil through the PCV lines and it's just going to be better than running without.
I also thought about the breather option, but then I have to deal with oil all over my valve covers.

with my breathers, there is a few drops of blowby a week.
i wipe it with a rag. it takes about 5 seconds.
it takes longer to take off a catch can and clean it.
i went with the breathers basically bc i like the way it looks.
another option is to do both sides into a breather catch can.
functionally i think this is the best option.
the hose going back into the TB is disconnected. only the hoses from the valve covers to the breather catch can are there.
oil gets collected in the catch can, and doesnt go anywhere from there.
