Hey guys thnx for the info on the engine mods.now were can i get a custom tune and how much usually charge. i can get the part on american muscle or other sites and just take it to a mechanic or i need to find a special place?

 

You buy a email tune for about $50 to $75 from place like BlowbyRacing, AmericanMuscle, or Brenspeed. Or it you buy a tuner new they usually will include a tune in it. When you buy it you tell them your ECM code, all mods done to the car, and they will create a custom tune for you.

Once you have the tuner in hand, just plug it into the OBII port under the dash, follow the instructions on the X3, and 5 mins later, your car is tuned. Pretty easy...

 

The CAI & custom tune combos from AM/Bama, Brenspeed and other premier tune writers can be reviewed on each of their websites.

As far as installation, do it yourself. It's really not that difficult. Even a caveman can do it.

 

I don't see any CAI/tuner combo's on Brenspeeds website for the V6, however I do know they have great custom tunes!
