Maaco used to be known for shady paint work but a member of the mustang club I belong to just had his whole car painted and other than a small runny spot on the side skirt it looks amazing. He chose the top tier level paint and to have his whole car painted in 3 days for $1000 is amazing.
And their top level paint don't mean jack because they don't even sand down the car properly so it's not gonna stick too long.
Unless he knows someone at the place that spent time and proper attention to his car, he's just another botched job out there.

I've got to agree with the Maaco is chit comments. At least the one I went to in order to have my side louvers painted originally, took them 3 tries (each time they told me it was done and I went down to shop). One time had horrible runs, the next had fish eyes, and the last time the paint wasn't blended properly. Maybe that's just one bad shop in FL, but that's enough to make me never ever go back.

I've seen 3 cars painted by Maaco and they all look like ****. Peeling clear coat, runs in the paint, they even over sprayed all over his wheels on one car they have painted. I'd avoid that place like the plague.

YES! I looked around for a super snake stripe and kept finding these thin ones until i found a good deal on one that is maybe a little thinner than headlight to headlight. Its just like yours except without the break and possibly a hair thinner. I can't wait for all this stuff to be put on!
