Hey Guys,
There's a guy around here who either has a Shelby GT or a regular Mustang GT.
The reason why i dont know for sure is because he put on a GT500 SS front end.
And also did some minor mods to the engine like CAI, headers, exhaust etc.
There's a picture attached here. He has a regular 4.6L V8 like mine with a 5-speed manual transmission. His interior says shelby everywhere, from the seats to the dash, the steeringwheel, armrest etc. He had the car repainted with the stripes.
I personally think its a regular GT because of the wheels, because ive seen the Shelby GT's on bullets only. And also because the Shelby GT has a regular GT interior and his just screams aftermarket.
Is there any writing anywhere where i could find out what car it is exactly?

+1... if it has a 5-speed and 4.6 then it's not a Shelby GT500... you can use a tool to pull up the original sticker description of the car with the VIN number on the car located bottom side of the drivers windshield... this would tell you exactly what it is. But to save you some time... it's not a shelby.... Could be a Shelby GT... not a Shelby GT500 though
those arent shelby gt wheels, but he couldve put them on.
the shelby gts did come in vista blue i think, or i know they came in a blue.
get the vin look it up, or see if there are indicators in the vin that would jump out at the first glance.

The Shelby GT only came in black or white, with silver stripes. I don't think it was available in any other color and it was limited to the 2007 and 2008 model years.
Obviously though the car in question has been modified since it has the GT500 front. But since it is blue, my guess is that it is not a Shelby but rather a mis badged GT.
What is the model year on the car?
