Exclamation Help! I'm an idiot and I need your help!!!

I put my wipers up this morning to wash my car. After I dried everything up, I decided to pop my hood open to clean underneath...Like a total moron idiot, I forgot to put the wipers down and I ended up pushing the hood up against the wipers and wedged the left wiper (left if you sat inside the car looking out) up against the top edge of the hood. Fortunately, the right wiper snapped back onto the windshield when the hood went up...so it is okay. Not only did I scratch the top edge of the hood, but the left wiper is misaligned. I pushed it back into what I thought was where it should be...please take a look at this photo. Is this where your left wiper is positioned when it is turned off? Should I move it down more to horizontally align w/ the end of the right wiper? Help!!!

Your not an idiot....it happens to us all. I have had this happen also luckily it didn't scratch anything. Your wiper looks fine IMO.

Thanks, mustang0672...Can someone also verify that this is where the wiper on your car is positioned? I just want to make sure it is positioned back to where it was...thanks.

Mine is about half an inch closer to the end of the window near the hood.
