LOL yea i hated the way we had to put them in reverse. AWD would of been awesome.

That's funny!

He has the supercharged SS. And yes I agree that the car is way too small and feels very cheap in almost every aspect. How much faster is it than my mustang?

The interiors on those cobalts were some of the worst ever. They basically found the cheapest plastics they could, and slapped them on in typical domestic (oldschool) fashion... That didn't fly with a lot of reviews, and people who bought them.

I had a friend with a N/A 2.4 model, and he told me how for ~24K you would expect at least a little more effort from GM in that department... He literally had the dash trim paint peeling, the key would get stuck in the ignition for no reason, and he (later) found his entire front end to be misaligned. We're talking the front bumper and grill never sat flush, and the headlights were also unevenly gapped.

Fast car. Bad daily driver, but it's worth mentioning that some of them can look really nice.

I'd get the Cobalt actually. No offense to anyone here, but the pre-2011 v6 Mustang was a giant turd that couldn't get out of its own way. I'd take a s/c 4 over that.

I actually had the option recently to trade my fiancé for his '10 TC/SS for my 4.0.
4.0 or not I would take the mustang any day of the week. Quality is ten times better in my '05 than his '10

wow, how is that even a topic??

i wouldn't wanna be caught dead in a piece junk like a cobalt even if its twice as fast as my mustang, same for subaru and co.
i must admit that i feel similar about v6's. i'd rather drive a mustang II v8.

a camaro v8, a vette, a challenger, a mustang v8, of any age these are decent to great cars, the rest is ok for basic transportation.

too much coffee

Cobalt-starting it on fire would be a blessing for that car
Mustang-'nuff said.

I've owned plenty of GM cars and driven plenty more. I wouldn't touch the Cobalt even if you gave it to me, brand new, for free.
