My guess is it is totaled - that is a lot of damage to repair on both front and rear, plus the trip through the ditch will have caused more damage under the car.

The initial estimate you receive is from a visual inspection. When the body shop get their hands on it and take it apart, they will certainly find hidden damage and contact the insurance company and they will give you a more exact estimate.
Plus, you have the base model, so the overall MSRP is lower than a premium so you're that much closer to having the vehicle totaled because the damage has to exceed more then 75% of the value of the vehicle.
