Same issue with my iPhone 4 and MobileEase (Ford's dealer-installed "pre-Sync" hands free). Connection light goes on, then after four seconds, goes off. Then I have to manually sync. Although, sometimes, it connects on it's own. Have unpaired and deleted phone, and added again. Same issues.

yes it's a pos. people on the other end say it sounds like im outside on a motorcycle or something also.
