No I did not dyno it, but I can feel torque loss under 2500rpm but hot damn it picks up after that and the car just feels a lot better and smoother while driving with them in.

Sounds great. I can't decide between these and Detroit rockers.

So since I haven't looked into modifying cars before.
What types of cams are there. What effects do different types have. Etc etc

What all is recommended to buy along with cam's to make them perform their best
Good sounding doesn't hurt either

Sounds good! Congrats! The next thing you'll need is some Long Tube Headers. I ran my FRPP HotRods cams for about six months. I got some Kooks LT Headers with catted H-pipe installed about a week ago and I tell ya... the difference is nothing short of AMAZING! Acceleration and driveability has improved 100%! It's like driving a whole new car. I highly recommend replacing the headers.

Look into Blow By Racing's Stage 1 cams aswell, they are supposed to give the most power.

For $1400, I imagine you had a shop install them?

I paid about 3 hundred less but cost is always different in different areas. It's an awesome feeling. I left the radio off for the first couple of months lol

To help on this, mine stock was at 276rwhp. With the cams on a street tune in the middle of July in Texas it dyno'd at 300 rwhp. So in cooler weather on the race tune on top of my newly installed msd ignition coils I should be at 320 or more
