Ouch. Took my guy three hours.$575 for install and three runs on the dyno. Are you going to invest in long tubes? I'm still shopping for the ones I want. Haven't decided yet on what to go with.

If I get LT's it would be the BBK Ceramic ones, but that will be right before the summer

Yeah that's what my buddy went with on his shelby/gt

I was thinking about these too though. Haven't seen anyone using them though.

I know this thread has died a bit, but has anyone changed their timing so it idles lower? I like that slow deep cam sound. What does this do for performance or any issues?

Thanks,
Jake

Wow I almost wish my car came with cams (and LT's/intake/tune) rather than just a supercharger because of that insane sound

I have the Comp thumpr cams and I've lowered my idle to about 750 with my SCT tuner.

Idle is set about 850 to 900 here in this vid though...

Did you have any issues with driveability or did it help or hinder performance any? Thanks for the reply!

Drivability was a bit worse but it took me about a whole ten mins to learn how to adapt to it and I drive mine in stop and go rush hour traffic all the time. Course I have 4:10 gears which helps. And yes, it made a massive difference above 3k rpms, car pulls MUCH harder all the way to WOT.

Thanks for the info Franchi. Did you have to manually change the timing with your SCT or did say bama or AM send you a tine for it?
