I haven't seen anything out for it, but anything is possible with the right amount of money, time , and a good body shop!

Lil Bud - go to www.mocsem.com and contact the web master. He will know the member with the red 2010 Mustang that has the forward folding hood and my be able to connect you with a picture and maybe a way to contact the guy for details.

Just curious, does such a hood lid mitigate or eliminate the possibility of the hood coming open and planting itself on the windshield to blind the driver?

If this is the reason for such a hood, I know that some would rather use hood pins and lanyards to ensure the hood lid don't come all the way up and plant itself on the windshield. Much less modding and also good for the peace of mind.

It reads to me that his reason for the forward tilting hood is that he has had airbrushing done on his hood and wants to show it and his engine bay off at the car shows.

Default forward folding hood

danzcool, u guessed it!!! and yes i am 72!! a young 72. i did find a website for wht they call reversable hoods. most are ugly, but it CAN be done.... i used to run drags in the 60's, my first rod was a '48 ford with Olds engine. Course family came along etc. Now im back into cars. When i can figure out how to post pics i will do so..(dum with puters). Sorry i got huffy, but it seemed like i was being made fun of, when all i wanted was some help. It seemed to me tht some needed to show some respect for their elders......Lil_Bud

I saw a Stang with a hood like that about a year ago, at a car show I went to. I don't know any of the specifics about it though. I thought it looked good, but it looked like it hindered access to the front of the engine if you needed to work on it.

Welcome to the forums by the way. You will find it very useful.
