Default Head Unit Antenna Wire

Okay, the last time I installed my head unit (since I've had it on more than 1 car), I noticed that the antenna wire is a good inch or 2 shorter than on the last car I had it on. I had to contort my hand in (and cut it up pretty bad - got a nasty set of scars) and blindly jam it in.

Is there a way I can extend the antenna wire?

Also, the right AC control wiring harness WOULD NOT come loose (I broke something on it trying). Could someone tell me how to do release it?

It looks like I'm going to have to do some more wiring up in there again this winter (installing 2 subwoofers, re installing LED lighting)

Thanks!

I beleive you can buy an extension for the antenna wire. As for the plug, you push the plastic tab in on the back & push up on the plastic lock, as you push up the plug will back out. You probably broke the locking clip.

Ya go to a car audio shop or Best Buy to buy an antenna extender, just tell them which car and they will find the right one usually.

Like tbar said, and you prob. broke the clip.
