Some More Problems

I don't know what people have said that is true, but I think the service advisor you are dealing with may be screwing you.
Hopefully the FordCustomerService person will chime in here soon to see what can be done. I personally think that Fords are great. Their dealerships are not. There are great ones out there, but they are few and far between.

I guess that since this is my first Ford everything said about them being no good is still looming in my mind because I haven't proven otherwise myself. I messaged the FordCustomerService person and am hopeful to hear back. I was discussing a sync issue with them a few weeks ago but than never heard back.
I'm sorta a Blue Oval fanboy though... In my driveway now are 2010 Eddie Bauer Ford Explorer, 2006 Ford F150 XLT, and my 2005 Ford Mustang GT.
Previous cars I've owned are: 1984 Ford Thunderchicken, 1993 Ford Escort GT, 1993 Ford Ranger XLT, 1997 Mazda Miata, 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS (that I turbo charged), 1999 Honda Accord LX, 2003 Mazda Tribute EX-V6, 2004 Ford Mustang LX, 2006 Chevy Trailblazer LS, and 2006 Pontiac G6V6.
The Mazda's were owned by Ford MoCo at the times bought, so they were basically Fords, exception being the Miata... I guess I'm sorta biased. LOL...

Sounds like one of the brake calipers is not releasing properly. If you jack up the car, at least one may not turn by hand easily. I think this caused the rotors to warp when you got the car and just got worse over time. Shaving the rotors (imo) makes the problem come back sooner, and much worse, as the rotors are smaller and weaker than they were when they were new. It doesn't address the source of the problem. Turning the rotors can take out scratches, but is pretty worthless long term if the rotor warps.
BTW, I'd never allow a dealer to turn(shave) the rotors under warranty, I'd have them replace parts in matched sets, both front and/or both rear, along with new pads and new calipers if needed. Rotors are actually pretty cheap, they are usually about 2x the cost of turning. I always just replace them if they need to be turned (shaved).

A quick follow up, if it is the caliper issue(which I will bring up when I take it back a 3rd time on friday) do you think the caliper would need to be replaced or just adjusted? I also noticed that all 4 calipers are somewhat rusted if that would make a difference.

Will do. The weird thing is it doesn't happen all the time, and when it does it shakes just driving, not even braking.
