Nice! I plan on doing the same myself until I can convice the wife to actually buy some black rims (claims I've spent too much already). Not sure if I will do it myself or have some professionals plasti-dip it for me though. Again, rims look fresh though.

By the way, can anyone tell me what "OP" means. Been meaning to ask, I remember when i first joined this forum, people we calling me that (I just played it off as if I knew what it meant)...

OP = original poster - the guy who started the thread - in this case - me.

As for getting a professional to plasti dip your rims - I'd be shocked if a professional would do it. Give it a shot - it's ridiculously easy - check out youtube videos for how to do it - and if you screw up, it literally just pulls right off. For $12 in cans and a little work taking your tires off, you can't beat it. I did 2 tires at a time using my spare tire and jack to hold the car up.

And if you have the tire on the rim you can slide index cards or playing cards between the rims and tires if you don't want over spray on your tires or you can just spray away and scrub it off the tire.

Lookin' good! If I didn't get black, I would have gone with Kona Blue.

Did you plasti dip your spoiler too?

Thanks.

Yep on the plasti dipping the spoiler - wanted to make sure it matched the wheels and emblems.

Thanks OP (yeah, everytime I initially saw OP i kept thinking of the Andy Griffin Show, LOL).

In that case if they just peel off, I will do it myself. I have the exact same tire you have. Also, you didn't have to do any sanding down or anything like that right? Just spray and that's it?

Also, when i leave afghanistan, i go back to germany, not sure how easy it will be to find plasti-dip, so do you or anyone in this thread know of a website where I can simply order plasti-dip?

Thanks, and yes for $12 or less, that's a pretty good investment.
