Default uffler removal

I'm having trouble removing the stock mufflers from my 2011 GT. I've got the clamp loosened completely, the rear hanger free of the rubber holder. I cant get the muffler to budge forward to free the muffler of the front rubber holders. Any tips on how to do this? Thanks.

Not sure if they are the same between 05-09 but I found it easiest to remove both hangars then remove the hangar from the muffler or the muffler all together. Then you can just bolt the hangars back on.

It usually takes a good bit of wiggling and yanking. They can be a pain for a simple slip joint.
