Hi guys...
Can anyone help me in removing the door panels of my mustang 2005 so that i can install new speakers..
Plz help me by providing some pictures if possible..The main problem is to remove the panels near door unlocker,
power window switch and the external mirror adjustor.

I take it you bought the inside part of the door with the speaker in it? Are you trying to install a shaker 500 or 1000? If you did get parts, how much was it?

thanks for the reply...........but no..i didnt buy any inside part of the door..i just want to remove the existing door panel to install new speakers..

I have the shaker 1000, and having same problem. I want to upgrade the door speakers and can't get the panel off. I removed 6 screws so far including the one behone the window switch..... AHH [:@]

for me( complete idiot with door panels ) those links dont help much. i mean yeah they tell you what to take off but every time i mess with those plastic pins holding them in i just break them... i need a write up with pictures and tools used. the door panels are a pain if you ask me.

See if you can get a copy of the speaker installation sheet from the Crutchfield website. They are detailed and have great pictures.

If I can find mine, I could try PDF'ing it for you and email it if you want.

i might try to remove the panel just to fix the rattle i get from when i'm bumping my jams. i hear it coming from the driver side door. thanks for the PDF links 07 Stang....

its actually pretty easy there are no pins i have had the panels off a few times after all the screws are of the lift up. the first link says it all just follow the instructions. i should know i posted the pdf's over there. take your time and it will be done. those are the ford files that the techs use.

Easy to do. Everything just pops off. Screws around the outer edges of the door. From there use a torx head driver. You'll have the panels off in a manner of minutes. Factory speakers drop out and aftermarket 6x8 will drop right in. Snap off the metal flange tab on speaker edge first. A good set of aftermarket speakers will help wake the shaker up.
