2011 leftover 5.0 pricing advice
So heres the deal guys, I was gonna buy a used, low mileage 5.0, but I am exploring all avenues. My local ford dealer has a 2011 GT premium, silver/black, manual, etc. equipped how I want it. Stickers at 35. However, a comparably equipped 2012 has 3000 cash rebate. I am able to purchase one under 30 (invoice - rebates) today if I want.
My question is - they say make offer on the 2011 leftover. My offer can't be anywhere near 29,000, seeing as I can buy a new 2012 for that. Plus this 2011 has 400 miles. What offer should I consider?

Is it still considered new? What options? It would be hard for anyone here to makea valuation without more info....
That said, make them an offer as low as you feel it is worth to you and see what they say... If your ideal price is $25k out the door, you may be surprised that they will take it. Never know until you try...
Good luck and let us know.

It's been sitting on their lot, likely for at least a year and a half. They're going to want that thing off their lot, even if they're going to take a loss on the sale so that they can avoid more costs of it sitting around through this year (and losing even more value). I say offer 25K and see what they do. The 2012 and 2011 are so similar that even if its cheaper by a thousand, you'd still probably be better off with it overall.

When I spoke with the sales manager on the phone he seemed DESPERATE to move the car. I test drove that exact one before I purchased my previous car. It has been there for well over a year too, you are correct.

$29k + T&L is a good deal. You're $6k under MSRP. Not bad for $3k worth of rebates. It's pretty much the deal I have. If it's in your budget, I would just go with the 2012 for piece of mind. I'm not so sure about buying a car with 400 test drive miles on it already.

Totally off subject - Hows your exhaust sound after the resonator delete? Of course I'm already looking at exhaust options in anticipation of buying a 5.0.
