If you stick with the stock size piping it should sound decent.
Although I would suggest putting some resonators somewhere, and staggering them an inch or two to fight drone.

Will I lose back pressure and where would I put the resonators?

I'm not sure on the back pressure,
and probably right off where your x or h pipe stop and the other pipes start.

I have a v6, so I kept my cats on.
But I have a custom H pipe welded up, SLP loudmouth II resonators welded after that, then straight pipes all the way out the back.
Sounds pretty mean.

Okay cool I wonder if any V8s have done the full straight pipe. And someone told me something about losing back pressure. Do you know how to take off the GTs mufflers without the torch? Someone told me something about bolting off?
