Driver's side window will not go up on "AUTO" mode nor will it close the last inch when top is closed. passenger side window works on all the "AUTO" UP or DOWN and closes the last inch or so whith top closed.

any ideas?

Have you tried reprogramming the window? Hold the button and run it all the way down and continue to hold it for 5 seconds. Run it all the way up and continue to hold the button for 5 seconds. Then see if your auto up and down works and if it goes up when you close the door.

 

the only problem i have with my windows,is if i run the front windows up all the way ,i cant close the door,because the window is above the convertable top so the door wont close all the way,i have to lower it just enough to clear the top. it this the same in all convertables? let me know if this is normal?

No, harleyguy, it is not normal. Might try the reset of the windows listed above.

 

When all else fails, read the... Owners Manual. Let us know if the recalibration doesn't work.

I had the same problem along with Harley's. I have actually had both problems multiple times, about once a month. The reprogramming, as Jim said, should fix it.

 

Reprogramming worked fine.
