Default How long to get $750 brochure credit? Need to purchase ASAP!!!!

I am trying to purchase a black 2012 GT base model 6mt and there are only 3 left within a 500 mile radius!

I applied for the 750 brochure discount about a week ago (and every day since then lol) but the local dealer said its not showing up in his system yet.

I tried a lot of combinations, clicking 2012/2013 mustang, clicking 0-30 days and 30-60 days purchase time frames.

I even did a couple to get sent to my email (those were tonight) but nothing as of yet.

Anybody know how long it takes?

As a last resort I THINK I am eligible for either the recent college grad -$500 (graduated may of 09...might be too long ago) or the first time buyer credit -$500 as I still drive my first vehicle which was in my dads name up until a year ago. I am not sure if they check with DMV to see if there is anything currently titled in your name, or if they just check to see if you have ever had an auto loan (I have not up until this point).

How do you apply for the $750 brochure discount?

Go to ford.com and "request a brochure"

You then at some point get in the mail a catalog and usually there is a 750 rebate coupon inside of it.

I am not sure how the system works but I think it randomly sends the coupons. I have heard some people say they had to request a few brochures before one with the coupon in it came.

Some have done the email route and gotten it within a couple of days...

It is worth 750 and can be combined with rebates such as the current 3,000 off the '12 gt's.

I tried everything .. then I had them send brochure to my work address and email ... Got the coupon within 3 days to my work email ... It's been 2 months and I have never gotton another on. I have gotten the brochures at my home address but no coupons.

The dealer questioned why it wasn't my home address on the coupon and I just said I had the brochures sent to work .. no problem.

hmmm the problem is...they told me specifically tonight that they CANNOT accept a 750 brochure coupon that is not to my exact name and address.

I guess they occasionally get audited and if they find out they gave customers the coupon they get in trouble with corporate.

They actually showed me the stipulations on the Drive dealer inquiry thing.

I know some dealers probably dont care and just accept the coupon but this dealer has made it well known they will not do that.

I think I will try changing the spelling of my name a little or something to see if I can get another one to come.....

The deal is DONE its just waiting on this damn 750 credit! While I wait the two cars im looking at could be sold....

Well I did use X-plan through my work. it was sent in my name to my work address. The brochure website even has a field for company name so it does not need to be your home address.
