New pics
Dude, you took that road with confidence. You obviously know that road. I have done it following my two Vette buddies. They were hauling *** and I was like oh sh*t.......LOL Video does not show how deep those dips are, how blind the turns are, how narrow the road is and how bumpy it is! But it sure it lots of fun. Do you live in Haiku? Nice pics too, wish I could have joined you guys last weekend.
Shots were taken in Wailuku/Kahului on Maui. The drive is the drive up country from Kahului to Kula
Thank you, that's very kind
I live in Kula, When I pull out of my house I turn onto that road. I drive it everyday for work/store/beach. I know every bit of it like the back of my hand. You are right though. That video doesn't even come close to showing how insane the drive is. You could lose a car in the dips in the road its bumpy enough to be paved with the same stuff as a teenagers face and to make the blind turns worse everyone drives in the middle of the road but god its fun.

I just used a tripod. I had one leg on the passenger seat buckled in, another behind me (leaning back on it) and the last in between the center console and the rear seat. The reason it stayed so stable is because in addition to that I had my arm through the legs and the shoulder strap which was just the right height to be able to shift and apply pressure downward to keep it steady.
It still moved around a lot which I think helped take some of the scale out. Those are some big hills, undulations and road irregularities.

Camera looked pretty damn still in relation to the car.
Very nice pics
