Default CAN somebody advise me about moroso catch can?

Hi,

I have a mustang 2005 gt with a vortec HO supercharger , and can buy from a guy a moroso catch can....but i have no idea if it is a good idea to buy ....or if it will work with my supercharger.....maybe somebody can help me

Do a search on here. There are lots of writeups about using catch cans with a FI setup.

IMO yes, especially with a supercharger. I have the Moroso, it looks like a quality piece and they've got many years of experience doing what they do. My only gripe is that it came with heater hose. Replace that with good quality fuel hose like Earl's Performance and you're good to go.

+1. If the price is good for you, go ahead and get it. Having a catch can on a supercharged motor is definitely a good idea.

I can't get your link to work, but if you're recommending the JLT catch can, I have a differing opinion.

I've had one for about a year now and it's caught exactly one thimble full. It simply does not do the job. YMMV.

I'll be switching over to a breather system this spring when the car comes out of storage. I like the Moroso breather.
