Sub box build help.
Looking to build a sub box for where my rear seats are not one that gets rid of my seats but ones that fit with the seats still up and in place. Like these pics. Anybody got specs or measurements?

not sure why you would want them firing into the backs of the seats.

I don't think that you could build a better box for the money unless you have 3/4 MDF lying around.

That's the thing I have full sheet of 3/4 mdf sitting in my garage waiting to be used and I like the look of the ones behind the seat so when I remove my rear seats it would look good
I have a box like the one you want, lying around that I'm not using anymore. I built it to flow with the drop in the trunk. I never finished the appearance of the box though. Never wrapped it. I used it and liked it, and took it out one day to prep the box for wrapping, and left it out until I get stronger amp/speakers. Once I get around to that, I may put it back in. It Looked real nice inside the car when the seats were folded down.
As for measurements, I don't have them, but if I get a chance in the next couple days I'll try to snap some pictures and measure it out for you.

I built a custom made sub box many years ago that used a modified 5th order design and it sounded awesome!
Basically it was a standard dual ported box that had two Rockford Fosgate Pro 8s firing forward into the back of the seats. The box was not sealed to the rear seats so there was open space for the remainder of the trunk volume to be used. The ports were tuned for 40 Hz and were extended to exit out of the rear deck (instead of in the trunk area). It sounded best when the seats were up because it created some weird 5th order effect and plenty of vibration and air movement from the rear of the car (the sloped rear window acted like a loaded horn).
I consistently had people asking me where my 12s were. LOL

Nothing wrong with front facing subs in the Mustang. I just switched mine from rear to front facing and it sounds just as good if not better.
And those links of pre-made boxes are not very good quaility, you would be better off making a box for your speakers yourself if you can.
