Default Will a mail order tune suffice?

I have a stock 05 GT that i'll be putting a air/air intercooled Paxton Novi 1200 in soon. My question is, how closely dialed in can a reputable mail order company get a tune without having my car on a dyno in front of them? I figure I don't have THAT many variables that might make tuning more difficult. And I realize that I probably won't get the MOST out of my Novi with a mail order tune, but would it at least be safe?

Thanks!

I don't believe they do tunes for FI, could be wrong though.

I called Bama. They'll do tunes for like the Eaton M90 or the Roush Charger but not the centrifugals.

Will Brenspeed do one? Looking for more opnions on the topic as well.

We do tunes for many F/I systems that are roots or twin-screw style. However, with centrifugal, MAF placement usually isn't consistent enough for us to be able to get right the first time. We don't really do remote-tuning. We do dial in via datalogs and dyno results for the applications we do support, if necessary. This is mostly tweaking, though. It's not that we can't do it, it's that we're not set up/staffed to support multiple revisions. We need to get things right on the first try!

You may want to take a look at getting a local dyno tune who can dial in your car on-site.

I would call brenspeed and talk with them as they sell that charger. I have a email tune for my Roush setup from JDM. Its not perfect I would call it 98%, but its damn close. No dyno on my island so email tune is only way to go.

Ok I will tell you straight off the bat and many will agree, if your going FI get a dyno tune unless your like 808 who doesnt have a decent dyno tuner in the area.

I went through this with my blown 2010, and ask anyone on this forum lol I was not satisfied or even felt "safe" about the car until I got my dyno tune. Email tunes are close but nothings safer than a full out dyno tune when going FI.
