Default Question for a potential future purchase.

Hey all, sorry if this ended up in the wrong section. I figured it'd be most suitable since the 2013 model will be in here shortly anyway.

I currently have an '07 GT which I will unfortunately have to sell later this year due to the fact that I'll be moving to Japan. My time with it has been short lived (it will have only been a little over a year), but I'll be in the market for another car in 2015 once I'm back in the states. I'd love to get a 2013 GT, so my question is do you think by then a '13 model could fetch 20-25K out the door? I'm just trying to gauge myself on how much I need to save once I'm back in the U.S. so I don't have to make payments. I plan just to buy one outright.

Thanks in advance.

that is really hard to figure this far out. but I imagine the 2015 will be the new body style. so its possible you can find one in the 25K range, but the milage might have to be high.

I think you will be able to find a 2013 in 2015 for a decent price. Just save you cash dude. Stay away from those juicy bars and save the dough!!!! You hear a girl say, "you buy me drinkie" you run outta that joint. LOL

Well thanks for the .02 cents, guys. I'm just not extremely familiar with how Mustangs have faired/changed with resale value over the years. Being that the '13 model will be the last year before the new one comes out, I figure it could potentially still hold its value high for a couple years longer than normal. Time will tell I suppose! Oh and 808muscle, I've heard allll about it lol.

You can never tell what the market will be like, both new and used. I wouldn't worry about it until the time comes.
