Default Human error

Last night I wanted to move car a couple feet without starting her up so with the front end facing up a little incline and car in first gear I push in clutch and let it roll down when I decided to stop my foot slipped off the brake pedal and the clutch at the same time( shoes were wet) and the tranny stop the car because it was in first gear still! Would it damage tranny having it in 1 while rolling back slow!!?

I doubt you did any damage. Most of us have made some "human error" at highway speeds (amongst a few) and all has been well.

Ya went for a drive this am and everything seems to be ok all gears are shifting good! I thought maybe it could have damaged something without noticing it right away! I imagine what happened isn't very good for the tranny
