O/R H installed... now car sounds horrible!
Hey everyone. I recently installed my Pacesetter O/R H pipe on my 2005 GT which already had flowmasters welded in when i purchased it..after the install the car sounds absolutely HORRIBLE. I've ran this set up on all the mustangs i've ever owned and they all sounded great...at ~2500 it gets extremely loud and raspy...it's comparable to a car with straight exhaust and an O/R H pipe...i've watched videos on youtube and none of the ones with a similar setup sounds this way...i'll try to get a video later this evening (i'm at work right now)..anyone ever had this issue? there's no exhaust leaks just sounds like the mufflers are gutted..i've "read" about broken baffles in Flowmasters but i've never seen/heard one in person...could this issue cause it??...any help is appreciated!

Just figured it out...took a flashlight and looked into the tailpipe, and can see all the way to the inlet of the muffler. Looks like the previous owner had the 3 Chamber flows GUTTED! Why some people are allowed around cars, i'll never know. Thanks for the views anyway people!

One chambers are getting welded in a few days from now...hopefully i won't throw up between now and then lol

Never been a fan of straight-through style mufflers. I've always been a fan of the chambered. I heard a guys setup on here with 1-chambers (which is what I have on my Cobra) and they sound awesome. It'll sound really good when I do cams here in a few weeks. Thanks for your input though!
