Of those 2 particular cars I like the 2010. But I normally like the 05-09 more. I am not a fan of that spoiler, and I would rather see the CS rear. If the 05-09 had a different spoiler and the CS rear I would have picked that. I agree on your color matched diffuser looking great.
The red mustang was my dad's older show car. The spoiler currently on it came on it directly from the dealers lot. The car has a dealer installed sunroof also which is pretty cool but I prefer my glass roof instead. The color matched diffusers like said above were the first mods to be done. The rocker panels on both cars are painted body color. Both cars are V6's so obviously none of the new 10-12's have body colored paint but I do believe the 05-09 GT's came with painted rocker panels. The 2006 was hit by a boat trailer after just coming back from getting the hood of the car repainted(corrosion on lip of hood) and we were headed to a show the next day. The guy who was driving the truck wasn't paying attention and took the back bumper right out. Though, it worked out for the best as the GT rear bumper was cheaper then the V6 one to replace.
The painted pieces were the first thing to be done to the car. I cannot stand the plastic look from factory.
I plan to do that at some point too! I just need to decide if I want to do the boss splitter/roush sidersplitters or not as it will sway my decision one way or another.
I like having a 2ndary color for two tone, I am wanting to do a very dark gray color for those pieces. need to photoshop it first to make sure it will work.
I just hope when I do it, that my painter can comfortably paint the panels as well as yours turned out, and that it holds up ... I am nervous about it

I replaced my stock V6 rear valance for the one that resembles the one of the BOSS and left the rocker panels stock and just painted them. My painter did a fantastic job at painting the pieces. He is experienced in painting plastic, etc as he has done thousands of them. He makes sure to scrub them down for one hour with soap and water before painting them. Before your painter lays hands on your pieces make sure to ask if he has had experience painting them before. If he has not then the paint may or may not crack 6 months to 1 year down the road. My painter also offers a lifetime warranty so if something did happen where the paint cracked he would take care of it free of charge.
The first time I ever saw a 2010 I said "Oh god, why did they do that?" but then I quickly grew to like it more than the 05-09. IMO the '10+ looks more sporty, modern, less bloated.
