Now that the CDC is out of the question as it is "discontinued" what would be the next best decklid panel? I really wanted the CDC if anyone knows of someone selling one. Anyways I was thinking about this one:

I like mine, it is just stock Ford. I did change the GT to a custom insert though.

I talked to CDC and they are still swearing up and down it will return / they are struggling to retool their new facility etc, but they are willing to take preorders for it still and whatnot.

I think it will be back if you can be patient enough. I know I'm in the same boat as you man. : (

 

I thought you got the panel from the Selling section of the forum? Ford fun weekend is coming up and I want to have it all done by then because right now I have the crappy painted faux cap on there.

 

Doesn't look like it will fit due to the model year.

 

That would be sweet...only my car isn't a saleen. If i was to do that I would still need to get a different decklid panel as that was has saleen on it.

That item may be something done in the future once I get my front end done up. In the next 6 months or so the car is going to have a totally changed look.
