man I can't wait to see the final product. Where did you get your seat skins from? I'm trying to change mine over from cloth to leather and can't seem to find them for a 10

Vb, yeah it is quite a bit of work. Ha

Lopez, I'll be sure to post them up. We won't be finishing it next weekend, but the weekend after.

07, thanks, yeah she is my baby. I was really impressed with the quality of the Damplifer it is so awesome looking when its getting rolled on. Is the sound of your Borla too loud in the interior? I was looking at a Borla for my new exhaust set up, but I don't want all this hard work to be for nothing. Lol

The coverage was all due to the air compressor. When it started working for us the coverage was just great.

As for the paint compound I need to order some stuff! Before we finish I am detailing that poor baby. It has over spray on some of the panels and just some DD grime. She needs some love. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

CoupeKiller, I bought my leathers from the Shelby Store (or something like that) but they are out of it now. I got the 2011 leathers, which were the only ones I could find. :/ There is a seller on eBay who sells them for $200 I think.
Here is the only listing I could find. $277 with $20 shipping.

I broke my heart a little tonight. My husband bought a '11 rear emblem to try to put onto my car. I removed the old faux gas cap and all of the paint underneath came off with the 3M.
So if the rear emblem doesn't work out I'll be getting the CDC delete panel I guess... :/
Damn girl.
Have you had your rear lid painted at some point?
Paint coming loose with the 3M tape is always a sign of bad prep...

Anyway... Looking good.

Leathers from 10, 11, and 12 are all the same, so if you find any of those, then that's what you're looking for.

Pascal, I know. As for the repaint, I'm not sure. I bought it in '09 with 48k on it. I have a feeling that it was in an accident. My rear bumper has been repainted and the front head light is a replacement. I would do a Carfax, but I'm not sure I want to know. Ha

And pdonket, the only difference in '10 to '11+ is the rear seats had head rest in '11+. I think that's why its so hard to find '10 leathers because people wanted the leathers without the holes in the top.

Really? Interesting haha. I thought that there was really nothing other than powertrain differences between the '10 and '11+. Learn something new every day!

Looking at the pic, it appears someone used RTV or silicone to reattach the emblem before, that would explain why the paint was weak and brittle and pulled right off the car.

Well that is just great, Pinn. Ha well I guess after this I'll atleast have a temporay fix until it is repainted.

Shadow, yeah this whole stripping the interior is turning into quite the chore.

So today we got the OverKill in the trunk and floor pan (I'll post pics tomorrow) now we are trying to get the carpet in.
Does anyone have experience in this and are we going to have to removed the entire dash to get the new carpet in?

No, you don't have to remove it. All you need to do is to cut it up the middle at the part that goes up there. Remember, your not going to see any of the carpet that goes under the center counsel Your new carpet was made to be installed with the entire interior remove, as in "an empty shell" so you will need to cut it in several spots to get it to fix the way you want it too.
