List of things to check. Many already listed in this thread...

P.S. having had this type of problem in the past on my V6, you will most likely have to replace the O2 Sensor.

The most common reason is fouling of the sensor (black soot from running rich when you pull it out). Not much you can do to clean it.

Swap the sensor from one side to the other as suggested. If the code follows the sensor, replace the sensor.

If it doesn't follow the sensor, make sure the connector on the car side is not damaged and that the pins are engaging the sensor pins when the connectors are pushed together. This is the second most common reason from my experience on other cars I've worked on with the same type of problem.

All right, I replaced the O2 sensor and the issue persists. here is a bit of a summary of what's wrong and what i've done.

The only engine modification is the supercharger, aside from that the intake and exhaust are entirely stock.
The issues: 1) upon startup the engine will rev directly to 2000 RPM, sit there then eventually settle back down to 1000-1100 RPM.
2) While accelerating there is a huge delay in power actually being delivered and the engine seems bogged down. this issue reduces as the car gets warmer and becomes negligible once the car is at operating temperature. however, even at operating temperature i barely get a chirp going into second on an aggressive take off so i suspect a loss in power.
3) While the car is having bogging issues, whenever i let off on the gas and put the car in neutral to coast the revs drop down to 300-500 RPM surge to 1300 RPM then settle back down to 1000 RPM (which has apparently become my new idle and i assume it is supposed to be a bit below that).

I also fail emissions testing as mentioned before. The OBD reader is reporting back that the Fuel system monitor, comprehensive component monitor, and the catalyst monitor are all inoperable when reading the I/M monitors on "this drive cycle".

Reading the I'M monitors "since DTCs cleared" reports back that the Catalyst monitor, Evap system monitor, Oxygen sensor monitor, Oxygen sensor heater are all inoperable.

I called Brenspeed with the issue and first they recommended cleaning the Throttle body. did that. They then recommended switching out the O2 sensor, did that. They then mentioned that i should take it to a Ford dealer as there might be a vacuum leak or mechanical error.

I just got back from there and they refused to look at it because it had a supercharger ( The service guy didn't even know what Saleen was!). I called saleen and they mentioned that the next closest shop i could take my car to is BBR down in boca raton. Before i make that trek i would like to get another round of opinions on the situation given a more complete analysis.

I am at 35906 Miles and my saleen warranty ends at 36000

I just cleaned my MAF sensor and that didn't fix anything.
