Try the Steeda kit for under the hood - it includes a resevoir cap as well as some caps for the strut towers and a few other items. Looks pretty good. I saw about 4-5 2005's at a show with them yesterday and they look really cool - and all the resevoirs seemed to be clean. Although they could have cleaned them off, two of them were dealer cars for sale that had NOT been detailed at all, and those master cylinders were clean of the fluid leak.

Mine is doing it to, so I'm thinking of getting the kit.

Dusty,

I know its been a while but did you ever get your leaking brake fluid reservoir issue resolved? My one month old GT is seeping at the split line as well. Sounds like alot of people are having the same issue.

Thanks,
John

I think everyone's does it. (mine too) I have all the steeda caps in my engine bay but they are just that (caps). They don't replace your cap - they just fit over your existing cap so they don't do anything for the problem. (with the exception of the oil cap - that is a replacement cap) Easy to clean off and not a serious leak - more of an annoyance but would be nice to get a TSB.

I had mine replaced about a year ago when I went in for the 1k service and it hasn't leaked since.

Mine does this as well, I am taking it into ford this week to have it fixed. I thought it was just spill over at first and cleaned it, but now I am seeing that its definatly leaking from the cap. Hopefully they will fix it, I dont think it has gotten on my paint yet.

I have never seen a car do this :/

My leak is not from the cap but definitely from the split line of the plastic reservoir.

+1 - YES, I should have been specific. This is where mine leaks, not from the cap.

I thought mine was leaking from the seam too but it was the cap.
I made a gasket to fit between the cap and the diaphram.
It hasn't leaked since.

I have the same problem. I have added it to the list of things for the dealer at the first oil change. I solved it with a head band my daughter gave me. It keeps the drips from happening. Check out the link to a prevous thread on this topic.

I did catch some laughs about the pink Adidas logo though I'm color blind so I don't notice.
