Default Resistance when shifting into 2nd and 3rd...SelectShift?

I am driving a 2012 GT 5.0 with Brembo package and 3.55 rear end and 6 speed manual. Under regular driving conditions I do not really have a hard time shifting into 2nd,3rd, etc. despite the Selectshift trying to work it's magic. However, I am really concerned because I am having difficulty shifting from 1st to 2nd, and from 2nd to 3rd when I am gunning it. I feel a lot of resistance in the stick and I'm not sure if this is normal or not. Many times I have missed the gear when shifting which is a big disappointment.

Some further evidence of this resistance that I've noticed frequently is when I am parked and in neutral and move the stick into 1st gear I get resistance in the stick the first time.....but, If I put it back INTO neutral and then BACK into first it is smooth as pie....is this normal??? I am baffled....please help with any advice or experience..Thanks guys!

sounds like you are having some syncro issues? I would hit up your dealership. I suggest going for a ride along with the tech so they don't tell you that "they couldn't reproduce the issue" or that its normal : P
