I'd still go 4.10. My 2008 GT, with just a tune, probably makes about as much power as the average X-Charger V6 and they were perfect.

Get a real gear! 4.10.

I believe I was the one who used that quote haha

"Muscle Car - An American performance car from the early 60's to the early 70's. They were generally an upgraded variant of a less powerful family car. Companies such as Chevy, Ford, Pontiac, Oldsmobile, Buick, Dodge, and Plymouth joined the game. They all followed the same basic rules: 1. there is no replacement for displacement 2. there is no substitute for cubic inches 3. horsepower sells motors, but torque wins races.
The basic idea was to get the biggest engine and stick it in the smallest car available at the time. The muscle car era was killed by inflating gas prices, emissions, and the cracking down of insurance companies."

My car only has an axle back and I raced my buddy in his '03 GT.
At lower RPMs it was a decent race (I still lost, but by very little) But once we got going he was gone. :/

I agree with this. With the "X" and 3.73's, first gear is something you're shifting out of almost before your foot drops the clutch...

I'm going to the TR-6060, which has a first gear ratio more agreeable to the 3.73's but for the stock t-5, the 3.55 should be good.

You might be surprised. Mine's been running with the "X" for about 47K, and one of the sychros is just now getting a bit cranky.
