Default anyone with ABS AM louvers help me

got my louvers in today. there are 6 holes for mounting brackets, 6 brackets, 6 washers, and only 4 plastic nuts. called american muscle and the guy said there are only 4 brackets to install. If this is the case why would there be 6 brackets? anyway can someone verify how many brackets i need?

the guy at american muscle said to just install it with 4 brackets on the sides and dont use any on the top... i just dont want and air gettin caught under the top and have that baby rip off on the highway. I installed it with 4 last night and put some silicon down to seal it so i should be good

---also, i went with the plastic because i like the texture and it is less weight. and it was a little cheaper. looks good now ill take some pics laterr

I have the aluminum louvers, and really, they aren't that heavy. 15 pounds max. easy enough for one guy to carry no problem.

Did you clean and prep the area before applying the 3M? If not, you better rip those things off right now, or else your result will be precisely that: lifted off of the car at 50mph

yea my aluminum louvers i can take off alone easily, just thin strips, and barely impacts my view out the back window.
Hope you did, I wouldnt want them flipping off at high speeds. If anything I would have done the 4 corners, not the bottom and middle, just asking for problems.

Congrats! Your ride will look cool with louvers. I can't wait to see photos.
I know what you mean about the price of the aluminum one, that's why I bought one as soon as it went on sale last month.
