Default Glass roof

Please tell me these are still available. I have a 2007 GT and recently spoke to a shop that was listed on webasto's website and they told me that they don't make them any more.

Are these discontinued??

Does the 2012 roof fit an 2007??

Any help or guidamce would be welcome.

Cheers

I didn't know that there was a place where you could get an aftermarket glass roof?

Yes, CDC use to make them. The '10+ roof line looks the same, so I would think yes?
Not sure though.

I think you might be right. IIRC, the roofline was the only thing that didn't change appearance-wise from 09 to 10.

I did a quick eBay search and found THIS.

It's about $600 (including shipping, excluding install) over the $2.5-3K price tag that originally came with the CDC install.
If the '10+ glass top won't fit the '05-'09, then it's an alternative.

Thanks for the tip. I'm in Canada do shipping is a concern but I do have a PO box in the states that I may be able to ship to.

I will try a local dealership to see if the 10+ roof will fit. I know there is a price difference from accessory to repair part numbers. I'll let you all know what I find.

The 2009 mustang had the option from the factory for the glass roof you know....so there is one out there for 05-09. If any of you want to argue with me look it up for yourself. I was going to purchase an 09 with the glass roof but got the 10 instead with glass roof.

We know the 09 had roof glass from the factory; however, immediately after ford offered this from the factory, a glass top became a popular mod. At the time, people who already owned 05-08 coupes were having it installed via CDC and a Certified Glassback Installer for $2-3K. Nevertheless, CDC has stopped manufacturing the glass as popularity of the mod fell. Now the OP, is looking for an alternative to the CDC installation.

That exactly it. The glassback wasn't available from dealership when I got my car. CDC offered aftermarket and webasto made them after CDC, it may even be the same roof.

Hopefully I can find a secondhand roof that's not damaged or retrofit one from the 10+ models.
