Pin Stripe Removal

Pin Stripe Removal
So I removed the pin stripes yesterday and it was quite a task. The drivers side was very easy. I heated it up with a hair dryer and it peeled right off with no left over adhesive residue. The passengers side was totally different.
Where as the drivers side was just one complete sticker, the passengers side was not and the main stripe had cutouts for the lettering instead of just being a complete sticker.
So after 5 hours of removing all the gunk off the one side, there is still a problem. If you look close enough you can still see a letter or two on the passenger side. Its sorted of "hazed" on so to say. Anyone know how to fix this? Will polishing it and waxing it blend it in?
Thanks

You mean you can see like a area where it's faded so to speak? And can still see what the letters were? If so, I'd try some light buffing. Use a polish that doesn't really have grit. A chemical cutter would be best. I've always liked Original Crystal Image from AIM myself. You don't need a gallon of it, but we had a detail guy out here that sold it in smaller bottles.
