Supercharging is the best plan for more power but if cash is not there for it then go with 4.10 gears and longtubes. Cams do offer power buts its in the high rpm range. For daily driving fun, longtubes and gears.

What about underdrive pulleys like the SR Performance from am.

You're looking at 3-5hp being freed up. You can do a few other of the mods previously listed that'll get you better results. You get what you pay for with the pulleys.

Thinking about doing the 4.10 gears is it something a person with good mechanical skills could do in his garage?

4.10s you wont regret it... unless you have a long daily commute.
